Located in the foothills of the Andes, this natural spring water rises in the UNESCO-protected Araucaria Biosphere amidst its wealth of flora and fauna, hundreds of kilometers from any industry.
Beginning at the top of the world's largest mountain range, where pristine snow melts in spring and trickles peacefully down the mountain for 25 years, his journey ends at the source in a UNESCO-protected biosphere. It has an exceptionally low total dissolved solids content and is a very soft water with low minerality and a naturally balanced pH of 7. The spring is within sight of the Llaima volcano.
The region in southern Chile traces its ancestry to the Mapuche people, known for living in harmony with the beauty, purity and abundance of nature.
In 1912, Amalia de Silva began using the spring to distribute water to the few households around the lake.
This spring provides water of extreme purity and balanced minerality and has kept the small local population in excellent health for over 100 years.
